Unlocking the Mystery of Doors, Hardware, and Codes: Accessibility Products ASSA ABLOY, 110 Sargent Drive, New Haven, CT
Join us for a discussion of the newest in architectural doors and hardware with an emphasis on accessible hardware. Sean Lodge from ASSA ABLOY will present information on making the proper choices in selecting doors, frames, and hardware that comply with current building, life-safety, egress, and fire code requirements. The presentation will be followed by a tour of the showroom.
3:45-4:00 pm: Registration and light refreshments
4:00-5:00 pm: Presentation: Electronic Access Control Impacts on LEED & Sustainability
5:00-6:30 pm: Tour of the ASSA ABLOY Innovation Corridor
Groups of 5-7 will be brought through our innovation corridor to see installed products.
Focus on Sustainability will include:
EAC integration and its impact on accessibility.
Forms of EAC currently used in commercial and multi-family applications.
ADA Requirements for closers, seals, etc. and their impact on accessibility.
Accessible and electronic access control devices for home applications.
Specific questions and applications can also be addressed during the tour.
