Dale Hauke, Vice President of Urban Mining Industries, has 23 years of experience in the recycling industry including specification and non-specification fly ash, bottom ash, wood ash, fluidized bed ash, scrubber residue, wood waste, cotton gin residue and bottle glass. Dale has worked with Urban Mining for the past 14 years. Prior to that, Dale developed a network of rail-served fly ash terminals nationwide and has provided business development services to electric utilities. Responsibilities included market research, sales and marketing, product development and corporate environmental management.
Dale’s role at Urban Mining includes development of the glass processing technology, assisting in managing Pozzotive® plant development, product development, environmental permitting and compliance, market research and development of business plans and financial models.
Dale was a representative to the American Coal Ash Association (ACAA) and has published and presented papers at fly ash and power generation symposia. He earned a Bachelor of Science in forest management, a Masters in forest statistics and a Masters in atmospheric sciences. Dale has participated in projects for American Concrete Institute (ACI), Committee 240 - Pozzolans and was a principal contributor to the development of ASTM C1866 Standard Specification for Ground-Glass Pozzolan for Use in Concrete and is a voting member of American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) C09 Committee.
