Join us for a Historic Preservation Series in collaboration with the New Canaan Museum and Historical Society.

The series kicks off with Early Connecticut Homes with Jim DeStefano, AIA and architect and engineer, discussing Connecticut’s Early homes and their architectural features. Part two features Chris Wigren. Deputy Director with the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation recounting stories embodied in Connecticut’s diverse historic architecture. Elizabeth Holt, Historic Preservation Specialist and Director of Preservation Services at New Haven Preservation Trust will complete the series with a how-to on identifying the important elements of historic homes according to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for preservation, rehabilitation, restoration and reconstruction.
