The Emerging Professionals Committee of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Institute of Architects serves Associate AIA members, architectural designers, and newly licensed architects. Members of the Emerging Professionals Committee foster the relationship between their profession and their local communities through volunteer work and various events such as CANstruction®. This group also hosts social events across the state to introduce emerging architects to their professional peers and members of related organizations. Members are also provided with educational literature to support their successful completion of the Architect Registration Examinations. The Emerging Professionals Committee prepares today’s younger generation of architects to become tomorrow’s leaders.
The Emerging Professionals currently utilizes the following coordinated methods of communication:
The Young Architects Forum (YAF) Connection is the primary method of communication from the YAF to the Emerging Professionals and architects within 10 years of licensure. The publication features the accomplishments, programs and musings of Emerging Professionals from across the country.
