After a wildly successful tournament last year, we’re thrilled to announce the 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament, bigger and better than ever! Join us for a day of exciting games, awesome activities, and fantastic networking at the stunning Powder Ridge Mountain Park!

This isn’t just your average cornhole tournament – it’s a chance to connect with fellow professionals in a relaxed and fun mountain setting. Gather your team, practice your throws, and bring your A-game, because while the atmosphere is friendly, the competition is fierce! Whether you’re a cornhole pro or just starting out, everyone is welcome to participate.

The event includes the tournament itself, a delicious lunch to fuel your throws, a lively reception to celebrate the winners (and everyone else!), and an awards ceremony to crown our champions. Plus a chance to showcase your creative talents by crafting your very own cornhole boards! Take the competition up a notch with personalized designs that reflect your firm or company’s architectural flair and style.

11:30am: Registration
12:00pm: Lunch & Practice time
1:00pm: 1st Round of Tournament Begins

Consolation bracket style, which means you will have more time to play and more opportunity to win!
Each round will last approximately 20-30 minutes

4:00pm: Awards ceremony

Award Ceremony will follow the conclusion of the tournament
Awards will be presented to 1st place and 2nd place winners, the most enthusiastic team, and more!

*A team (or individual) registration to play includes participation in the cornhole tournament, lunch, non-alcoholic beverages, and two drink tickets. 

*Boards must be purchased by May 16th to allow ample time to purchase & design them.

  • $575: Boards with Design & Team of 2 players
  • $500: Blank Boards & Team of 2 players
  • $300: Cornhole Team (2 players)
  • $175: Individual Player (will be paired with another player)
  • $100: Spectator (food and drink included) Members only

Non-Member Tickets

  • $775: Boards with Design & Team of 2 Players
  • $700: Blank Boards & Team of 2 Players
  • $500: Cornhole Team (2 players)
  • $250: Individual Player (will be paired with another player)

Cornhole Board Design Guidelines

A set of blank cornhole boards will be provided by AIA Connecticut, offering a canvas for your creative designs. Each set includes eight bags.

Design Parameters:

  • Creative Freedom: You are encouraged to design the cornhole boards freely, provided the designs are appropriate and do not impede gameplay.
  • Functionality: Designs must not compromise the structural integrity of the boards or obstruct the 6-inch diameter hole.
  • Dimensions and Materials: The boards must maintain a surface size of 24″ x 48″ with a 6″ diameter hole. Material selection is at your discretion; however, please consider how different materials and finishes may affect playability. Contact us with any questions or concerns.

Board Shipping:

  • Boards will be shipped directly to the address provided during registration. Please ensure the shipping address is accurate.

Board Drop-Off:

  • Boards must be delivered to Powder Ridge Mountain Park by 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 25th. Please coordinate delivery with the AIA Connecticut Event Team.
  • Note: June 26th reserved as a rain day.

Important Notice:

  • Upon purchasing blank cornhole boards, you assume full responsibility for the design, ensuring a professional appearance suitable for the tournament, and timely delivery to the event.
  • If you purchasing Boards with design, send to us your design, and we’ll ship the finished boards straight to you. All you’ll need to do is bring them to the tournament.

Disclaimer: Please note that AIA Connecticut has an In-Person Visitor and Event Attendance Policy that you should review prior to the event.

Please notify the AIA Connecticut Staff Events Team of any cancellation or substitution. Refunds are only available two weeks prior to the event (June 11, 2025). Any cancellations after June 11 will not be given a refund. Team member substitution will only be allowed up until June 21, 2025.
