Cornhole Tournament

Get ready to toss, score, and compete!

This year, instead of the usual golf tournament, we’re excited to introduce something fresh and exciting. Gather your team and bring your A-game as you aim for victory in this friendly yet competitive tournament. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, everyone is welcome to participate and network with fellow professionals in a fun, laid-back vineyard atmosphere. The afternoon event will include the tournament, lunch, a reception, and awards.

Plus a chance to showcase your creative talents by crafting your very own cornhole boards! Take the competition up a notch with personalized designs that reflect your firm or company’s architectural flair and style.

Designing a set of boards includes a set of cornhole boards provided by AIA Connecticut. The boards come blank, giving you the perfect opportunity to showcase your creativity with your own designs. Alternatively, we can arrange for professional design services at an additional cost.

You can choose to keep the set of boards following the event or donate them to our board auction. Funds raised in this auction will be donated to a charity that will be chosen by attendees at the event. A set of boards includes eight bags.

Design Parameters

  • You have the freedom to design cornhole boards as you please, but please ensure that the designs are suitable. It’s important that the designs do not interfere with the functionality of the boards, such as maintaining their structure and ensuring the hole remains unblocked for gameplay.
  • Boards must maintain a surface size of 24” x 48” and a 6” diameter hole. Some materials may impact how slick the boards are. While we are not mandating what materials or finishes are used, please use your discretion, recognizing that these boards must be played on. Please contact us with any questions or concerns.

Pick-Up

  • Boards may be picked up from the AIA Connecticut office during normal business hours (Monday through Thursday, 9am-5pm). Please coordinate an approximate time with staff.

Drop-Off

  • Boards MUST be dropped off at Hawk Ridge Winery on Monday, June 24 between 12-6pm (their business hours) OR on Tuesday, June 25 before 10am. They may be left under the covered pavilion outside.
  • If dropping off on Monday, AIA Connecticut staff will not be present, but you can ask Hawk Ridge Winery staff if you have any trouble finding where to leave the boards. Please note that depending on how early boards are dropped off on Tuesday, there may be no staff present. Otherwise please call AIA Connecticut staff with any questions when dropping off the boards.
  • Note: in the event of a poor weather forecast and a decision to change the event date, these dates may be impacted.
